The Great Outdoors
Note: Mostly just trying to spread awareness with this one. Also note it’s probably best not to search on #Assless Chaps at work.
You can now suggest titles for strips using the Tumblr “ask” mechanics. See the button? It’s on the right.
Byrobot is back and it’s an important time in all of our lives. In the 15 months since I last did a comic, there was an oil spill and Osama Bin Laden was killed by a 8.0 magnitude tsunami created by a DARPA weather machine. God Bless America.
I decided to move the site over to Tumblr primarily because it’s easy to update. Unfortunately, the comments and alt texts from the old site are now history, but most of the comments were pretty obnoxious anyway, and alt texts seem kind of like 1990’s technology to me in retrospect, so all around it’s no big deal.
For the time being, there may be some difficulty in finding a particular strip if you don’t happen to spot it on the large archive page. I dutifully captioned all of the comics with their titles, but it appears that Tumblr doesn’t allow you to search on that text. I’ll figure out a way around this.
I’ve utilized Tumblr’s hash tags to group certain comics together. Every continuous series has a tag (e.g. #Situation Tragedy) and there are some other tags too like #!Strip, which indicates that the strip has an exclamation point in the title, and #bestof Byrobot, which indicates a personal favorite. There are a few more I’ll let you find yourselves, and I’ll be adding more in the future if you’re into that kind of thing.
I’m shooting to have an update every weeknight or so, if possible.
Regarding content, I’m setting aside the Celebrity strips for a while and going back to hand drawing. Anyway, hope you enjoy the site.
